USB560BP JTAG EmulatorThe new bus-powered Blackhawk USB560BP is the third generation of the widely used XDS560-class emulator first introduced by Blackhawk and the only bus-powered USB JTAG Emulator that supports all of the advanced capabilities of Texas Instruments latest MCU´s and DSPs. These capabilities include high-speed Real-Time Data Exchange (RTDX)™, lightning speed downloads and Advanced Event Triggering to quickly find and fix real-time software problems. The emulator pod, which is about 150g in weight, does not require an external power supply! Features include a variable TCK (timing clock) up to 50 MHz and highly flexible 6 inch cable assembly suitable for use from 5.0 volts down to 0.5 volts to support TI low-voltage device roadmap. Software compatibility with all versions of Code Composer Studio™ (CCStudio) integrated development environment (IDE) v2.2 and above, and a driver independent DLL developed by Blackhawk, assures existing and future device compatibility for new DSPs right out of the box with no upgrades required. The Blackhawk USB560BP JTAG Emulator is compatible with Code Composer Studio and its Flash-burner utility. USB560BP also support Native adaptive clocking for TI ARM based devices

The Blackhawk™ USB560 JTAG Emulator is backward compatible with USB v1.0/1.1 and can handle very low I/O power supply voltages (0.5 to 5.0 volts) while preserving compatibility with previous XDS510™-class devices. The XDS560-class technology extends capabilities to the developer by providing dramatically faster high-speed Real-Time Data Exchange (RTDX)™ bandwidth for real-time visibility, significantly faster code downloads for better productivity and Advanced Event Triggering capabilities to quickly find and fix difficult real-time software problems. These new key features increase productivity for designers and shorten time to market for new DSP applications.
